& Thou Shalt Honor

The initial broadcast of & Thou Shalt Honor in October 2002 awakened the nation to the risks and rewards of family caregiving. "It celebrates the circle of life," said the Los Angeles Times. The broadcast was a PBS "Program Pick of the Month" and the VHS tapes and a companion book were top sellers in their category.

To continue its advocacy for family caregivers and the professionals who assist them, Wiland-Bell Productions has formed the Thou Shalt Honor Foundation. The Foundation's initial efforts include:

• Caregivers-USA.org, a nationwide database of services for caregivers;
• Caregivers USA News, a weekly newsletter for caregivers and professionals in the field; and
• A nationwide series of Town Hall Meetings to continue the dialogue sparked by the program's broadcast.
